The idea is based on the integration of electrical conductors in pants for older people who have difficulty walking, or Freezing of Gait (FOG). Human gait is a complex cyclical movement in which bones, muscles, and the nervous system are coordinated to maintain both static and dynamic balance during upright movement. The main objective is to investigate the integration of electrical conductors in intelligent clothing that, as a connecting element between the sensors and the microcontroller, ensure adequate robustness of the system during movement. The research involved a thorough investigation of different electrical conductors and the possibilities of integrating them into clothing, in this case trousers. An essential part of the activities was the rigorous testing of the robustness of these conductors in real-life scenarios. With this research, we wanted to bridge the gap between technology and wearable solutions to ensure the robustness of a wearable system integrated into an intelligent
clothing.
