The documentation and presentation of completed projects, in the design world, is usually in the form of a catalogue. This is designed by the designer, but may be done for him or her by a graphic design or media communications professional. In modern society, where digitalisation is invisibly intertwined with virtually all our activities, printed catalogues are complemented by a presentation on the World Wide Web. This allows the addition of streaming content, as well as a degree of virtualisation in the form of virtual reality. In the workshop “From paper as a medium via the internet to virtual reality”, participants worked in three groups to create a printed portfolio for this year’s Design Week, with the following content and put them on a website that we designed ourselves, selected creations from other workshops were digitised and prepared for a virtual VR online presentation. The students were tasked with designing concepts for all three parts of the presentations, to determine the colour scheme of the presentations and digitise the designs. We used Adobe Indesign, Agisoft Metashape, Blender and a web-based environment. WordPress. As the use of artificial intelligence is now practically is a regular feature, we used AI to generate certain elements of the catalogue.
